Hey guys! Awesome day today isn't it? ( ̄∇ ̄)づ
Today, I will be writing about a place I visited with my friends last 05/27/14. Okay, first of all I have already visited some of the other branches like in I.T Park and in Ayala. But I was really surprised of this branch. Thanks to my friends, Elvis and Kizmine, who took me there, I got to see and have a great lunch at this lil cool place. I am talking about Casa Verde Ramos branch. I was told this was the main branch! Damn! Was I living under a rock for all these years? Hahah.

Well, first of, I have to say that the place was very up to my taste. Have you guys seen the movie "Starting all over again", where Piolo's character wanted his ancestral home to be converted to a restaurant? Well,he might have visited Cebu to get the idea from the Casa Verde Ramos branch. You guys can really still see the old architecture and feel the Spanish-Filipino~ness (if there is such a word. lol) of the place.
We got to eat at the garden area and it was such a delight! It was around 11am-12nn so the weather was really hot, but to my amazement the garden area was cool, shaded and breezy! So we enjoyed staying there and waiting for our orders to arrive. May I mention that they have big freaking ass koi fishes in their pond? Damn were those fishes huge! You must personally be there to really get a feel of their sizes! The cool thing is that once you sit there and just enjoy the fishes moving along the pond, you get a feeling of relaxation and most of your problems tend to sit back and just let you chill for a while.

Okay, enough with the environment and the fishes! Let's talk about the food and drinks. At the spur of the moment we chose to have a seafood only lunch diet ( I dunno why but it was cool to think at that day we were health conscious. Lol ). The sweet couple (hayyyyy. (っㅡ ㅡ)つ hahaha) ordered the same meal which was fried shrimp with rice while I got shrimp on the barbie with mash potato. Plus some side dishes of sisig and more mash potato. So the names on the menu are: Ting-ting's Tavern Shrimps, where the shrimp was fried to a golden crisp and served with tartar sauce, harvest rice and vegetables; the other being Shrimp on the Barbie, wherein the shrimp was skewered and grilled to perfection with a side of mash potato and vegetables. To describe the taste, let me make a new word.... YummmTastic! That's all I can say for what we tasted there. It was so delicious that it only took us 10 minutes to scarf all of it. Please do not follow what we did if you are seated in a full restaurant though. Etiquette people! We were the only ones in the garden area so we had a free pass. Haha! s( ̄∇ ̄)/`

Overall we enjoyed the place. It was a nice restaurant to chill, hang, and dine! I treated the couple being the third-wheel ( join me na! U knw hu u r.Huhuh ) but I can say it was a reasonable bill for a great meal. So guys, visit the place with friends, a partner, or even alone cause am sure that you will be leaving there with a happy and smiling tummy.
Until the next post!
